Susse Licht has just completed a 5k run in Copenhagen. A total of 50,000 women ran in three locations in Denmark split over five days. She participated with her older sister and two young nieces. It was her first run after a neck operation in June and Susse remarked "It was good fun, and there was a very nice atmosphere amongst the runners. I got a nice running shirt which I will be wearing with pride". Well done Susse!!!

We are based at the Hollybush recreation ground and all of our runs leave
from the car park there unless you have been given other information by the

Joining your running group was the best thing I did, Everyone is so friendly , we are all different people of different ages doing the same thing, the social side is fantastic, I moved down south in 2000 and can honestly say up until joining your group never felt settled, this is now not the case I have made many great new friends and look forward to Monday and Wednesday every week. I had tried to run alone before I joined the group but was very unsuccessful, I hated it so gave up. You are a true inspiration and having such a great group kept me going I would not have achieved any of this without your support. Thank you.
